It is with profound gratitude and pride that I pen this note for the website of the Rotary Club of Dillibazar-Kathmandu. As I reflect on my 14-year journey with this remarkable organization, I am overwhelmed by the impact we have collectively achieved through our dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of Rotary. Over the years, our club has not just been a gathering of like-minded individuals but a true family united by a common goal—serving humanity. The spirit of Rotary, encapsulated in “Service Above Self,” has inspired us to dream big and strive tirelessly to make those dreams a reality.
From humble beginnings to becoming a well-recognized name in our community, the Rotary Club of Dillibazar-Kathmandu has indeed come a long way. As President, I encourage every member to continue embracing our mission with positivity and humility. Let us serve without ego, respecting the diversity of talents and perspectives within our club. True leadership is not defined by titles but by the positive change we inspire and the lives we uplift. The Magic of Rotary is the inspiring theme for the Rotary Year 2024–25, marking a significant milestone as the last annual theme adopted by Rotary International. From the following year onward, Rotary International will no longer adopt annual themes, making this year’s theme truly special and memorable.
